I grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, across the street from the college where my father was an art professor. I discovered early on that something magical happened whenever I sat at our kitchen table strewn with crayons, colored pencils, paints, papers, scissors and glue. Not content with doing just one thing in life, I joyfully juggled art making, teaching and child raising for many decades. Since 2001 I have been a full-time painter with participation in over 100 solo and group exhibitions. The many years I lived in Germany opened up exciting opportunities to exhibit in numerous countries and fueled my interest in international art activities.
